A Community in Formation

We are now in the stages of forming a home-church community committed to inclusiveness, peace and justice, and the sanctity of all creation.  It is my hope that such a community can grow together through worship, prayer, and acts of social justice.

The small communities that first sprinkled the Eastern Mediterranean during the first couple of centuries after Christ were worshiping prayerful congregations that came together in homes to break bread and share in Eucharist.  Taken after these early gatherings, The Community of St. Francis Pastoral Center hopes to be a sacred spot, attuned to the spirit of St. Francis, where prayer, community, and service join together.
